About Us

Virtual Arts is a theatre and event company that connects artists and audiences globally to realize the full potential of online and in person productions by developing authentic works of hope, humor and humanity. We offer assistance, guidance and production value for online community outreach events that raise awareness and support families and artists world-wide.

How We Started

We established our group in April 2020 as a reply to the absence of live audiences due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In our first year, we presented five virtual productions as both fundraisers and as events that allow the voice of the theatre to move forward when so much of life is at a stand-still.

Executive Director

has created a novel place for himself in the world of the theatre as a playwright, director and live event producer. Larry is the co-author and director of the interactive giant, Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding, having directed over thirty productions of the show in an array of cities including New York City, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Bermuda, Tokyo, San Juan, Toronto and virtually on Zoom. His other plays include Sheila’s Class Reunion, Aunt Chooch’s Birthday, (off Broadway) Leo and Lili’s Luau, Fantasy Party  (off Broadway) and Blessing In Disguise (off Broadway).Dialogue with actors and technical staff has afforded Larry circles of friends that intermingle via social media and real life on a daily basis. His theatrical family is vast and loving and his determination that actors learn as much about life as they do about the theatre is a shiny prize he keeps in his heart every day of his life. His lifelong dream of working with thousands of actors and developing theatrical families around the world has been realized.Creating Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding with Artificial Intelligence and Nancy Cassaro in 1987 developed his taste for site specific interactive theatre that has grown into a world-wide genre. His dedication to bringing non-theatre goers into live experiences, whatever the theme, is magical and unusual. Written word is important to him but guiding actors and audience to communicate through their own words and actions has been a passion for forty years.Larry has also worked with the great Kenny Rogers on a Christmas special for Hallmark. He oversaw the development of a luau in Maui that ran for six seasons. This luau, Huaka’I, starred Kaniala Masoe (Hoku Nominee) and Melody Masoe, both top cultural experts from Hawaii.Currently he leads the creative agenda for Paradise Activity Company and works with resorts and their activity departments in twenty two locations in the US.Virtual Arts is his newest project and Mr. Pellegrini works with a gifted team including Christy Benanti, Melissa Ford and Gret Menzies.

Gret Menzies

Margaret (“Gret”) is a Connecticut native. After graduating with a Vocal Performance degree from Boston University’s School for the Arts, she moved to New York City to chase her dream. But fate had a different idea about where her home base would be to realize that dream. She took what was supposed to be a brief contract in Las Vegas as a musical director for Delisco, the Broadway veteran who won a headlining contract at the Las Vegas Hilton on the E! Entertainment Network show Wayne Newton’s The Entertainer. Gret has been performing and directing in Sin City and beyond ever since, most recently on the North American tour of Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA, where she was a backstage manager. Favorite past roles include doubling as the Assistant Director of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, while also playing Connie, the pregnant Maid of Honor, Carol in 50 Shades: The Parody, also at Bally’s, Sister Robert Ann and Sister Amnesia in Nunsense at both LVH and Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, and Susan in Company at LVH. In addition to her theatrical work, Gret can be seen performing frequently at Keith Thompson’s Composers Showcase at The Smith Center, and she is the mezzo-soprano and a producer/arranger for her critically-acclaimed all-female vocal trio Dangerous Curves (named LA’s Critics’ Choice – Best Cabaret Act on broadwayworld.com). Together they have recorded and released two albums: Girl Talk and Star of Wonder (both available on iTunes and Amazon.com). Gret has become a sought-after studio, background, and harmony singer and also works as a guest musical director and vocal coach for various theatre companies and schools throughout the Las Vegas Valley. She is married to her best friend and greatest musical inspiration, Michael, and is a proud Shiba Inu mom.
